The Ventura County Film Festival Two Decades of Cinematic and Green Education

The founder and executive director of the Ventura Film Festival was honored to take part, along with several of Hollywood's premier talents, in the golden anniversary celebration of West Side Story and Hollywood's legendary footprint/handprint ceremony for Oscar honorees Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and legendary actor Golden Globe winner Russ Tamblyn at the historic Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This occasion also served as the official BluRay debut by Fox and MGM of the classic West Side Story, which is broadly regarded by critics and fans as the best musical of all time. This prestigious recognition and participation highlights the festival's meaningful presence and esteemed status within the entertainment industry.
